1.Art Center College of Design藝術(shù)中心設(shè)計學院（ACCD）
1930年成立，是美國目前在設(shè)計上最權(quán)威的學院，其汽車和交通工具設(shè)計系、數(shù)碼設(shè)計專業(yè)、插畫系、平面設(shè)計、娛樂設(shè)計等，是其優(yōu)勢專業(yè)。全美藝術(shù)學院排名中，工業(yè)產(chǎn)品設(shè)計第一。
2.Art Center College of Design VS Rhode Island School of Design
藝術(shù)中心設(shè)計學院（ACCD）VS羅德島設(shè)計學院（RISD）
同：都是美國最悠久的藝術(shù)學院。
異：ACCD要求新生入學之前有一定的設(shè)計經(jīng)驗或者有其他大學的學歷，所以學生的平均年齡偏高，一年級新生平均年齡為24歲，而RISD的一年級學生平均年齡為19，換句話說RISD是傾向于招收那些沒有工作經(jīng)驗的人的。
3.California Institute of the Arts加州藝術(shù)學院（CalArts）
最開始他們是由迪斯尼集團投資興建的非贏利性高等藝術(shù)學院，是目前美國最前衛(wèi)的藝術(shù)學院之一。共包括五個學院：音樂、戲劇、舞蹈、電影和美術(shù)，并且是美國高等藝術(shù)學院中擁有藝術(shù)評論系的極少數(shù)院校之一。
4.Otis College of Art Design奧蒂斯藝術(shù)設(shè)計學院（Otis）
1992年改為在的名字，與parsons school of design徹底分開。該校曾一度是加洲最好之一的藝術(shù)學院，由于管理經(jīng)營上的問題，目前已經(jīng)逐步衰退。
5.Academy of Art University舊金山藝術(shù)大學（AAU）
舊金山藝術(shù)大學已經(jīng)逐步成為全美最大的獲官方認可的高等私立藝術(shù)院校。舊金山藝術(shù)大學位于舊金山市區(qū)中心，擁有包括教學樓，行政樓和學生宿舍等超過30所建筑設(shè)施。這里擁有獨特的建筑，多元的文化，最新的科技和每一個藝術(shù)家所需要的靈感。學校還一周七天24小時提供經(jīng)過認證的網(wǎng)絡(luò)課程。

6.School of the Art Institute of Chicago芝加哥藝術(shù)學院(SAIC)
芝加哥最重要的藝術(shù)學院，在美國有很高的學術(shù)地位。
學院歷史：二戰(zhàn)時由于法西斯上臺，現(xiàn)代主義在歐洲遭到扼殺，大批現(xiàn)代主義大師由歐洲大陸移居美國。比如，德國現(xiàn)代主義藝術(shù)教育的中心----包豪藝術(shù)學院的主要教員和大批學生都來到美國，他們不但帶來了現(xiàn)在主義思想，也帶來了現(xiàn)代主義藝術(shù)教學體系。美國不少美術(shù)學院開始設(shè)置新型課程，對傳統(tǒng)素描、靜物、人體教學也進行了改革。其中最切底的例子就是“芝加哥藝術(shù)學院”，1938年由包豪斯的中堅人物拉茲羅.摩霍里.納吉建成的，學院全面\n貫徹包豪斯體系，完全改變了芝加哥以往藝術(shù)教育的方式。
